Veterans Honoring Veterans

Your service still makes a difference.

The Associated Veterans of Bakersfield Honor Guard is made up of volunteers who give their time to provide final military honors at no charge to families.

Our ceremonies include the rifle salute, Taps, flag folding, flag presentation, and a memorial block. Each tribute carries the gratitude of those who served alongside them.

A Place in the Ranks

Give your time. Honor a life.

Local reporting has highlighted the need for veterans who can give one or two weekdays. If you are interested, ask about current opportunities, participation requirements, and the time you can offer.

Services take place Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to a last service at 2:00 p.m., at Bakersfield National Cemetery and cemeteries in Bakersfield.
